Cultured Marble, Cultured Onyx and Cultured\ Cast Granite,
Are all made the same way with the only difference is the fillers used in the mixing of the matrix.
 
Cultured Marble matrix consists of polyester resin, an activator and limestone filler.
 
Cultured Onyx matrix consists of polyester resin, an activator and a refined mineral base filler thats translucent.
 
Cultured\ Cast Granite matrix consists of  polyester resin, an activator and a crushed polymer filler similar to other solid surface materials primarily man made for kitchens.

Most Cultured Marble type products are all poured on fiberglass or stainless steel molds of a depth of 3/ 8" for panels or 3/ 4" for tops. All the molds prior to pouring are generally sprayed with a clear Gelcoat. That clear non porus Gelcoated surface makes Cultured Marble type products excellent for BATHROOM use.
